Myotherapy is a form of natural therapy which focuses on the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and associated pathologies.  Myotherapy incorporates a wide range of soft tissue massage including muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia.

Myotherapists will assess and treat pain and dysfunction in the body based on the effect these tissues have on patients presenting concerns or injuries; and also the effect that these presenting concerns or injuries may have on the soft tissue.  Myotherapy treatment is directed towards the tissue structures to ensure that muscle quality is maintained to allow for optimal movement and function while aiding in pain relief and correcting body dysfunction which may be preventing the recovery of an injury.

Myotherapy can be effective at any stage of a concern or injury, be it corrective, rehabilitative or preventative.

Kristen Nicolaidis has been in private practice for 15 years and still has that same passion, drive and enjoyment in treating and providing personalised care to everyone who walks through the door.  Beginning her career as a Myotherapist and then in 2018 graduating as a Chiropractor from RMIT she is passionate about furthering her knowledge to be able to help as many people as she can to feel and move better and function at their highest potential.

Kristen utilises Applied Kinesiology (AK) muscle testing techniques to help identify areas of imbalance in the body and address those imbalances through a range of techniques including Neuro Impulse Protocol, muscle activation techniques, massage, and nutrition.
